Era tutto il giorno che guardavo verso l'alto, man mano che ci alzavamo di quota...: volevo arrivare là, toccarne quasi la magnificenza, entrare dentro le nuvole. Purtroppo abbiamo dovuto fermarci prima, per svariati motivi (primo e più importante fra tutti: la mancanza di tempo; quel giorno infatti tornavamo a casa). E questo è stato lo scatto più vicino che ho fatto a quei colossi; eravamo a più di 1.500 metri, forse anche 1.600... ma non lo so con precisione perché non siamo arrivate fino alla malga (dove immagino ci fosse l'indicazione dell'altitudine). So solo che eravamo sopra San Martino di Castrozza che si trova a 1.487 m s.l.m. (vedi l'altra foto che ho fatto) e che abbiamo camminato parecchio verso l'alto.
